“Halle Berry” has grown into a very beautiful mare. Bred by Emmy De Jeu, Ellanbrae purchased her as a very manky looking yearling.  She was left in the Netherlands to grow up, and go through the keurings (where she achieved the prok and ster predicates).

She was then broken in and landed in Australia on 21 May 2016.

Her sire, Glock’s Voice, competed at international Grand Prix with Edward Gal, including at the Rio Olympics 2016 and the Normandy WEG 2014.  Voice carries the blood of some of the greats of modern dressage in De Niro and Rohdiamant.

Through her dam, Halle also carries the blood of Don Schufro and Contango.

This super young mare is part of both our competition team as well as of our embryo transfer breeding program.  She began competing in January 2016 winning champion preliminary at the Victorian Youth Dressage Championships, and has continued on her winning way.  She has been lightly competed at Novice, 6yo YH and medium classes while her young rider finished school. In the 2018/2019 season she will compete at both 7yo Yh classes and begin her FEI YR (PSG level) career.
